Nellikkai is a fruit of the small plant which grows in hot places of India. Its fruits are cut as it is, removed their seeds, and then dried well to make it as a dry fruit. It is then ground into very fine powder. It is having the original taste and aroma of the fruit. 

It can be consumed with honey to improve our general health. It is being used as a good food and a medicine by our ancestors since ancient years.

Unlike other Dry Amla, it is unboiled Nelli Vathal having its original nutritients as it is.

It is called as Indian Gooseberry in English, Ama in Hindi, Nellikkay in Malayalam, Usirikay in Telugu, Nellikkai in Kannada, Amalaki in Sanskrit. Phillanthus Emblica is its Botanical Name.
