Kariya Polam also called as Aloevera Pisin in English is nothing but the stem extract of Indian Aloevera. It is extracted, dried well and available as raw material. It is being used by our ancestors for various medicine and hair care related purposes. It is also called as Ratha Bolam or Moosambaram in Tamil.

It is called as Chottakanvar in Hindi, Chinikalabanda in Telugu, Chennai Nayakam in Malayalam, Lolisara in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Aloe Litoralis.
