Adhimadhuram is a small plant grows in Hills of India. Roots parts of the plants are used in the name Athimadhuram. Its roots are dried well, cleaned and available online as raw roots. It is being used by our ancestors since ancient days.

Its other names in Tamil are Athingam, Asti, Madhukam. It is called as Licorice Roots in English, Jethimath or Mulethi in Hindi, Erattimadhuram in Telugu and Malyalam, Yasthimadhuka, Athimadhura in Kannada, Jestamadha in Marathi. Its Botanical Name is Glycerrhiza Glabra.

Some people believes that Adhimadhuram is the roots of White Kundrimani Plant because it is also having a name Kundri Ver in Tamil. But it is not true and the botanical names of Kundrimani Plant and Adhimadhuram are different.
