Akkara is a small plant grows in Bengal and in Arabian Countries. Its roots parts are used by people nowadays. Its Akkara Roots are dried well, cleaned and available as raw material. Its being used by our ancient Siddhars since ancient days. 

It is called as Pellitory Roots, Pyrethri Radix, Spanish Chamomile in English, Akarkara and Akhalkhara in Hindi, Akkarakaram in Telugu, Akkila karam in Malayalam. Its Botanical name is Anacyclus Pyrethrum.

It is also called as Akkirakaram, Akkara Ver in Tamil.
