Aadathodai is a small plant grows in almost all places of India. Its leaves are dried well, ground into very fine powder. The powder is then filtered to make it free from unground parts of the plant. It is being used by our ancestors in making various herbal medicines since ancient days.
It is called as Malabar Nut in English, Arusa in Hindi, Addasaram in Telugu, Atalotatakam in Malayalam, Adasoge Sappu in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Adatoda Vasica.
Nowadays people use it for Steam Inhaling and Kapha related diseases.
