Thippili also called as Long Pepper in English is the seeds of Thippili Plant. It is a creeper plant which catch and grows over other trees. One of its variety is Gundu Thippili or Round Pepper. It is shperical in shape, not intense in its taste and aroma comparing to ordinary Long Pepper.

It is called as Long Pepper in English, Pippali in Hindi, Pipallu in Telugu, Hippali or Kuna in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Piper Longum.
