It is called as Garudakodi in Tamil, Indian Birthwort in English, Eswaramooli or Hookabel in Hindi, Karalayam or Karudakkodi in Malayalam, Ishwara Beru in Telugu and in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Aristolochia indica.
